Women Empowerment (WE) Conference

On May 10, 2019, W.C. Child made a guest appearance at the Women Empowerment (WE) Conference in Hopkinsville, KY. The theme of the event was “The Juggle Struggle”. As part of the program, she read passages from her book “Not Yet A Woman”. The venue for the event was the James Bruce Center and was hosted by the Minority Economic Development Initiative (MEDI), whose Executive Director is Henry Snorten, III.
